Tricia D. Goostree

Highly regarded and recognized as a no-nonsense attorney, Tricia D. Goostree works tirelessly to meet the needs of her clients. When individuals and families are faced with the most difficult ordeals, Tricia is able to comprehend the situation and work toward a resolution. Understanding that every divorce case is unique, Tricia makes sure her clients are comfortable and aware of what is transpiring.
As the founder of Goostree Law Group, Tricia knew she wanted to become a lawyer at a young age. Tricia concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of domestic relations and family law. Throughout her career, Tricia has provided strong legal representation to her clients through compassion and integrity. She enjoys working with the courts and thrives when facing a difficult opponent or challenging legal obstacle. After living in both rural and urban areas, Tricia is adept at relating to individuals from all walks of life.
Tricia attended the John Marshall Law School in Chicago after earning the Dean's Scholarship, where she represented the school by competing in several competitions.
While a student at John Marshall, Tricia interned with the division of consumer fraud at the State Attorney General's office and was also Supreme Court Rule 711 clerk for the Chicago Legal Clinic, where she helped many clients with family law matters. These positions allowed Tricia the opportunity to learn and appreciate the various needs of different clients, while frequently working in the domestic relations division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Tricia practiced in Cook County for two years before she expanded to DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, and Kendall counties.
In addition to her legal practice, Tricia serves the local community in various ways. Tricia is an active member of several volunteer groups and has also delivered presentations and lectures at numerous legal continuing education symposiums.
An admitted baseball fanatic, Tricia also enjoys running and traveling with her husband in her spare time.
